Eternal skincare products are great for men too!

1 October 2019

The UK personal care market is currently estimated to be worth around £848 million – and men are apparently responsible for 31% of all toiletry sales.

A recent study of men’s grooming found that UK males spend an average of £760 per year on skincare ‘essentials’, and two thirds of them follow a skincare regime, taking an average of 23 minutes.

Clearly interest in men’s skincare is booming. Gone are the days when a quick scrub with a flannel and soap was the only time a British man had a close encounter with his face. Men are discovering the benefits of looking after their skin, and helping ensure it looks smoother, fresher and younger for as long as possible. When England rugby players Danny Care and Chris Robshaw are interviewed about their grooming recommendations in a national newspaper, you know men’s skincare is going mainstream.

The skin is the largest organ in the human body; the average adult has around 8 pounds and 22 square feet of it. It’s just as important for men to take care of it as it is for women.

Used regularly, a good skin cream will make men’s skin feel healthier, less taut after washing, and can help reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes. Shaving should also become smoother and easier.

However, with the increasing interest in skincare, men are also becoming more discerning with regard to the type of product they choose. Like women, they are turning away from preparations containing parabens, synthetic fragrances and animal-derived ingredients, and looking for safe and natural ingredients.

Eternal Skincare is suitable for both men and women. Our luxurious Aloe Super Hydrating Moisturiser will soothe and hydrate skin beautifully and can be used on the face, body and hands.
