Our skincare products pass the vegan test

1 May 2019

The explosion of interest in the vegan diet over the last few years is rapidly extending beyond food, as a growing number of people adopt an entirely vegan lifestyle.

Vegan living is defined as an attempt to exclude all forms of cruelty to and exploitation of animals, so vegans will avoid not only meat, but eggs and dairy. In addition, ethical shoppers increasingly want to ensure that their skincare and beauty products are free from any animal-derived ingredients such as animal fats and acids, dairy products and even honey or beeswax.

The Vegan Society reports that over half (56%) of British consumers, whether vegan or not, adopt vegan buying behaviours such as checking for cruelty-free labels, as customers become keener to investigate the origins of their purchases.

Our natural skincare brand has always appealed to vegans, because from the very beginning our focus has been on the use of top quality, natural ingredients. We are against animal testing, and none of our products contain any animal-derived ingredients. They are also free from colouring, synthetic fragrances and parabens, so anyone living a vegan lifestyle can be completely confident using them.

We refuse to bulk out our creams and cleansers, with the result that they contain an exceptionally high proportion of Aloe Vera. The amazing cactus-like plant is known for its healing and medicinal properties, as well as being one of the finest natural moisturisers available.

Try our luxurious Aloe Super Hydrating Moisturiser or our freshening Aloe Cleanse and Sooth Facial Wash and give your skin a soothing and softening treat, suitable for vegans and non-vegans alike.
